Explore some of British Columbia's most rugged coastline. Start your full day guided tour with a stop in Horseshoe Bay and take a breath of the fresh ocean air at this seaside village. Horseshoe Bay is located at the entrance to Howe Sound and the village marks the start of the Sea to Sky Highway that links Vancouver and Whistler.
From Horseshoe Bay, the journey continues north following Howe Sound to our next destination, the awe-inspiring Sea to Sky Gondola. After an exciting 10-minute ride to the top of Habrich Ridge, your views change dramatically, rising above the towering canopy of a coastal rainforest and upward above Howe Sound and the neighbouring mountains. Spend your free time at the top walking the boardwalks, hiking the local trails, taking amazing photos of the sweeping vistas or grabbing a light snack from the shop. Just a stroll from the base of the gondola, is the spectacular Shannon Falls. Towering at 335 metres, Shannon Falls is the third highest waterfall in British Columbia.
After a journey on top of a mountain, it is now to explore below. Continue travelling back south along the scenic roadway with a stop at the Britannia Mine Museum. The museum is a National Historic Site that offers guided mine tours, gold panning and an expanse of exhibits all exploring British Columbia's mining history. After a fun day exploring, return to downtown Vancouver in later afternoon.
