Prague's Jewish Quarter is one of the most important and richest Jewish museums in the world. Thanks to this service, you don't have to purchase an admission ticket at the cash desk and you will enjoy the visit straight away. With the ticket, you will also have a 20 minute-long introduction, which will help you to wind your way in the ghetto and to enter into the impressive Jewish history. Explore the Jewish Quarter of Prague for an overview of the area's history and modern life, starting outside the Rudolfinum on Jan Palach Square.
At Rudolfinum, you will meet the representative of the tour operator, who will give you the admission ticket and a 20 minute-long introduction about the Jewish quarter. During these 20 minutes, you will join him for a little walk, during which he will take you next to the Pinkas synagogue, which is also the entrance to the Jewish cemetery. He will explain to you also how to visit the other sites inside of the ghetto.
Thanks to this ticket you can access famous synagogues as well as Prague’s Jewish cemetery. You can choose from Circuit 1 or Circuit 2.
- Circuit 1 includes entrance to Old Jewish Cemetery and 2 synagogues. Spanish Synagogue is one of the most beautiful synagogues in Central Europe built in Moorish style and the Old-New Synagogue is the oldest active synagogue in the region.
- Circuit 2 includes entrance to 3 synagogues: Maisel, Pinkas, and Klausen Synagogue. The last one is the biggest in Prague Jewish Town. This option includes also the Old Jewish Cemetary, Ceremonial Hall, and Robert Guttman Gallery where you can find temporary exhibitions.
Once the introduction is over you will go and visit the Jewish ghetto at your own pace. Although a 20 minute-long introduction may seem a short time, it will turn your visit into a rich and very pleasant experience.
