Masada Sunrise and Dead Sea Tour from Eilat

You will climb to the top of Masada to enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise, explore the ancient ruins of Masada and float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea on a sunrise day tour from Eilat. You will depart from Eilat in the early morning and drive north through the desert and reach the rocky feet of Masada. As we begin the moderate, 45-minute hike up the Snake Path, the sun will emerge in the east over the mountains, providing a breathtaking view of Jordan and the Dead Sea. You’ll reach the top just in time to relax in front of the stunning desert landscape and shimmering sun on the still waters of the sea. With time to explore the ancient fortress of Masada, we will view the archaeological remains of a castle built by King Herod in 30 BCE, and the place where the Jewish rebels famously decided to take their own lives rather than fall into the hands of the advancing Roman armies. You will then drive back south, where we will stop at Ein Bokek, the southern beach of the Dead Sea and the lowest point on Earth. Float in the salty waters and enjoy the rejuvenating mud before heading back to Eilat.
