Sierra Nevada Tour
A chance to see the ‘other Andalusia' in the highlands of the Sierra Nevada. You'll drive past rocky outcrops, olive groves and almond and cork trees. At Puerto La Ragua, there'll be a short walk through a pine forest and a picnic. Then in the foothills, head past shark fin-shaped peaks to Guadix – a town that's jumped out of the pages of The Hobbit. You'll notice chimneys sprouting from the hills and mysterious doorways leading into the mountainsides – and get to see inside one of these cave dweller's homes. You'll also stop at an earthenware shop. See the hand-painted ceramics and watch a pottery-making demonstration.
