With more than 1.5 million visitors each year, The Pont du Gard is the most visited ancient monument in France. Built in the 1st century AD, this 50-meter high and 273-meter long Roman aqueduct is a Unesco World Heritage Site. This place is one of the most spectacular Roman monuments that remain in France and the only ancient 3-stage bridge still standing! At its feet flows the Gardon, a relaxing and swimming haven in summer. Music festivals, events, exhibitions, workshops, visits are organized throughout the year.
