Discover the original and genuine flavors of Siena on an exciting food tour that allows you to visit a series of carefully selected catering activities, where quality is the main rule. With your tour leader, finding a place to taste the best of local cuisine will be easier than ever!
After meeting your guide, who will explain in detail the rich history and curiosities behind each dish, you'll stop near the Cathedral for the appetizer consisting of salami and cheese with local Senese bread.
The second stop will focus on truffles in a shop located in the magnificent setting of Piazza del Campo, where you will taste various truffle-based products.
After the starter, the first course will follow in a typical tavern near the square: taste seasonal Sienese dishes, such as panzanella, tomato soup, pici with breadcrumbs or garlic!
At the end of the tour, you'll be offered a selection of typical sweets: Bacio di Siena, a delicious nougat covered with chocolate, cantucci, panforte and ricciarelli accompanied by a good glass of Vin Santo.
If you have extra time, you can choose to complete the experience with a walking tour of the city center and also add a visit to the world-famous Cathedral.
