What to expect

The beautiful ruby color and characteristic fragrance with hints of violet is the distinguishing identity of one of the famous wines in the world: Chianti. You'll get to taste this refined product in one of the best wine cellars of the area, together with a section of 'bruschette' (garlic bread), typical cheeses, Tuscan salami and sliced cold meats as an accompaniment.

Our tour leaders will guide you to discover the marvelous unspoiled landscapes that have been cradling the Chianti vineyards for centuries. The sounds, fragrances and tastes of this land will steal your senses away, and you will also get to see its ancient churches, medieval castles and little hamlets. Here the pace of life has remained unchanged over the course of time. With us, you will enjoy the pleasure of exploring these fantastic settings and relishing the ancient traditions.

Our tour will then continue on to San Gimignano, a medieval town which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. San Gimignano is distinguished by its world-famous characteristic towered skyline and it stands along the via Francigena on the hills of upper Val D’Elsa. The town is also famous for the wine Vernaccia di San Gimignano, saffron, and the precious Santa Fina pottery. All the beauty of San Gimignano will be disclosed to you. Your guide will accompany you through beautiful squares, buildings, churches and picturesque alleyways.
