The volcanic islands of Stromboli and Panarea are the star attractions on this full day tour. You'll explore two contrasting islands off the north coast of Sicily with plenty of free time to sightsee at each destination and witness the lava flow on Stromboli by night.
You'll first set off towards the island of Panarea, scooting by the micro-archipelago between Lipari and Stromboli enjoying great views of the Aeolian Islands. Once you disembark in Panarea, you'll have two hours to explore the island – enjoy a swim or visit the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese on foot or by taxi.
You'll then have more wonderful views to admire as you sail towards your next stop – Stromboli. You'll dock in the lively port of Scari where you'll have three hours to wander at will, linger in a café or restaurant, or enjoy an aperitif as the sun sets. When you depart, it's time for an impressive finale as the boat takes you through the dusk to catch sight of an active lava flow, the ‘Sciara del Fuoco' glowing in the night.
