Gravedigger ghost bus tour
- Hear all about Dublin's gruesome history during the outbreak of plague
- Enjoy the surrounding sites
- Have a drink at the Gravediggers Pub
The Gravedigger ghost bus begins at Trinity College, where your guide – playing the plague victim – will transport you back some 600 years to a time when Dublin was ravaged by plague, grave robbing was rife and other unsavory behavior abounded. Listen to your guide recall how plague victims used to try to soothe their open wounds with the waters designated as the city’s drinking water. Discover their fates, as well as the method used by grave robbers to extract bodies from graves. Many believed that the plague heralded judgment day, but the history of Dublin's horrors had a long way to go. Your guide will bring you on a journey through weird and gruesome events, unearthing legends and ghosts from Dublin’s past. Join them on a custom-built Gravedigger bus for an evening of ghastly fun! The tour also entitles you to a ghoulish drink at the Gravediggers Pub along with a free walking tour.
