What to expect

All the best bits of Jerez are within easy reach of the nine stops on this hop-on, hop-off City Sightseeing tour. Your ticket is valid for 24 hours and includes a free walking tour of the city centre – an atmospheric maze of crumbling baroque beauties – and a visit to the Tio Pepe winery.

You can jump on to bus at any of the stops. Stop 1 is handy for exploring sights such as the Moorish-era Alcazar – possibly one of the most underappreciated monuments in Spain – as well as the cathedral and St Michael's church, with its elaborately decorated façade. While Stop 6 is great for meandering the former Jewish quarter. And for something a little bit different, the Palacio del Tiempo near Stop 4 is a museum boasting a collection of vintage clocks and watches

Stop 8 is where you alight to check out the world-famous Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. As well as the dressage exhibitions, its beaux-arts Abrantes Palace is well worth checking out.
