What to expect

The Micro Era exhibition, presented at Kulturforum in Berlin, shows media art from multiple generations of Chinese artists. The exposition is organized thanks to the cooperation of German and Chinese art curators and includes installations made by 4 Chinese artists: Cao Fei, Lu Yang, Fang Di, and Zhang Peili. The exhibition concentrates on the connection between mind, body, and technology using various kinds of installations and single-channel-videos ranging from the 1980s to the present time, from documentary film images, and the adapted use of classical film language to the aesthetics of Japanese Anime.
