What better way to experience Scotland than by seeing castles, beautiful landscapes and drinking whisky? Your day will start by heading straight to Benromach Distillery, no messing about, so be sure to come with your stomach lined! The distillery is independently owned and has been established since 1898. Whilst it's small in size, producing just half a million litres of spirit a year, it's all about quality and not quantity, which you'll find out on the tour as your try 4 different drams of whisky. If this isn't your scene, feel free to explore ancient Brodie Castle encircled by daffodils, the 16th century home to the Brodie clan who resided there for 400 years, or discover the beautiful market town of Forres.
Your next stop will be the Spey where you'll head to Glendfiddich, arguably one of the best-known whisky distilleries in the world, and why not find out why by having a drink at the Malt Barn Bar? From here you'll venture down to Speyside Cooperage to see the coopers working on some of the 150,000 casks they produce or repair each year.
Before the day is done, you'll take another stop at a distillery, this time the oldest in the Glenlivet parish, aptly named Glenlivet Distillery, whose whisky broke records in 2016 by selling over 12 million bottles worldwide. You'll come away from this tour which your thirst thoroughly quenched.
