Start the tour at the historic Rogers' Chocolates. Founded in 1885, this is one of the oldest chocolate shops in Canada. Here you’ll sample one of their famous cream-filled chocolates, then head to the very popular Bon Macaron for a selection of chocolate infused macarons. Light and exploding with flavour, choose from interesting combinations like chocolate-pear or peanut butter-chocolate. Next, make your way to Bernard Callebaut Chocolate shop to try 2 of their top selling chocolates. Guests then get the opportunity to pick out 2 more chocolates (like one of their unique savoury items, mango peppercorn!)
After your first chocolate fix, you’ll explore three places of worship: St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Christ Church Cathedral and St. Andrew’s Cathedral, to learn about their history and appreciate their beautiful architecture. You’ll also stop at one of the oldest cemeteries in the city at Pioneer Square.
The tour will end with two additional chocolate stops, including a mole taco from a local taqueria and drinking chocolate form Chocolatiere de Victoria, a family owned chocolate shop that has been in business for over 35 years. A perfect tour to learn about Victoria's history and indulge in delicious chocolate!
