Stretching along a 60-hectare garden, Venaria Reale is a majestic complex on the outskirts of Turin. Declared a UNESCO heritage site in 1997, the Royal Palace was commissioned between 1658 and 1679 by Duke Carlo Emanuele II as a base for his hunting expeditions.

  • The Reggia is open on public holidays (same opening hours as Sunday):
  • New Year’s Day (January 1 from 11.00am), January 6, Easter and Easter Monday, Liberation Day (April 25), Labor Day (May 1), Feast of the Republic (June 2), August 15, All Saints' Day (November 1), Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8), December 26
  • The Reggia and the exhibitions are closed on December 25
