The aperitif is an all-Italian ritual that originated in Turin in the second half of the 1700s, coinciding with the creation of vermouth, and is still today a way to get together and relax. To make your stay in Turin even more unique, Caffè Reale proposes the Aperitivo Reale: an exclusive occasion in the hours approaching sunset to enjoy a pleasant break in the evocative setting of the Royal Palace.
An aperitif in the evocative setting of the Caffetteria Reale includes a tasting of Insalata Russa, anchovies in green or red bain-marie, locally produced cold cuts in combination with a Cocktail or a glass of wine (Cortese or Dolcetto).
The Cafeteria has its entrance from the Court of Honor of the Royal Palace and is located in the ancient rooms of the Fruit Service, a place since the 18th century dedicated to the preservation of fine porcelain. The cafeteria offers visitors a moment of refreshment, even at lunchtime, in a unique and elegant setting, among the objects of the Savoy collections.
