Get your tickets to visit the Pena Park, a luxuriant garden with over 500 different species of trees and one of the top attractions of Portugal.
Located in the Sintra hills, the Pena Park surrounds the beautiful Pena Palace. The 200 hectares of the park may simply appear as an ancient forest, but the area was specifically designed by King Fernando II, who wished the grounds to be a maze of romantic paths to enthrall his guests. In this park, you will get lost discovering all the magical places inside such as the High Cross, the Temple of Columns, St Catherine’s Height, the Monk’s Grotto or the Little Birds Fountain, and many more.
You’ll also visit the most fascinating construction in the park, the Chalet of the Countess of Edla, also known as the House of Indulgence. This extremely picturesque building located at the west of the park was built by King Ferdinand for the Countess of Edla as a summer residence.
Another important spot and one of the most significant collections of this garden that will definitely marvel you it's the Garden of Camellias, which features, besides the international cultivars, Portuguese cultivars named in homage to every member of the royal family of the time.
This ticket also includes a hop-on hop-off service that will allow you to get on and off at different emblematic points of the park. Simply show your entrance ticket and hop on!
