Join this private full-day tour as you visit various temples. In the morning, you'll drive out of Siem Reap about 77 km through the vast countryside to Beng Mealea temple. Engulfed by nature, this 12th century temple was built under Suryavarman II and is enclosed by a moat measuring 1.2 km by 900 metres. Built to the same floor plan as Angkor Wat but on a smaller scale, this almost-forgotten temple comes without any of Angkor’s crowds. The site spans more than 1 sq-km and is largely overrun by vegetation.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you head to Banteay Srei temple. It is called the fabled pink temple of women because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women. You'll then make a short visit to nearby Banteay Samre temple before your tour ends and head back to the hotel.
