What to expect

Visit a real nuclear bunker from the 1950s, 16 meters deep under the city, built for up to 5000 people with the cold war nuclear bunker museum with expositions about the communism period in Czechoslovakia, nuclear war, civil defense, gasmasks, army equipment and military gear, photos, uniforms and much more.

Learn stories about what happened during communism including spies and lies, communist terror, political prisoners, refugees, dissidents and the cold war. Hear about the biggest statue of Stalin ever built, the former communist secret police, the STB headquarters, Prague Spring and the Soviet invasion of 1968. Get to know about the death of student Jan Palach, end of communism and the story of the Velvet Revolution with chaos and hope for a new future.
