Located in the center, framed by the characteristic Murals that fresco the streets, the Museum boasts about two centuries (last records refer to 1848). It remains intact in its beauty and typical of the buildings of the period. The Museum houses the ancient utensils used in the production of Orgosolo's typical bread: "Su Pane Tostu" (Carasau Bread) and "s'ispianada" (the esplanade). You will try your hand at an educational activity where you will literally have to put your "hands in the dough" to learn techniques and secrets of bread making in all its phases. The Museum is also graced with a short film starring three elderly Orgolese women. Finally, confirming the main endowment of the Orgolesi that is the hospitality pro s'istranzu (guest-foreigner), you will enjoy a delicious tasting of the typical bread accompanied by an excellent cheese produced by the local shepherds and a glass of local "cannonau" wine.
