Surrounded by historic buildings, bars, restaurants and the turquoise sea only across the road – it’s ranked among France’s 100 most picturesque markets.
Under brightly striped awnings, seasonal Mediterranean fruit and vegetable stalls offer seasonal produce along with dried fruits, nuts, olives and spices. Don’t miss out on some local street food while you’re here too – the Niçois speciality ‘socca’ at Ches Thérésa. It’s served in a paper cone if you want to eat this tasty chickpea flatbread on the go.
