The 250-acre New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) is the largest in any American city, with 50 specialty gardens and collections consisting of over one million plants. It is one of the country's leading centers of botanical research and floristics, whose mission is to preserve Earth’s biodiversity and natural resources.
Through education programs and groundbreaking exhibitions in this living museum, the NYBG aims to also educate the public. Located in the heart of the Bronx, it is an easy ride from Midtown Manhattan and makes for a great day trip!
