The Vodka Tasting Experience includes seven of Poland's best vodkas (everything from prestige quality clear, traditional herbal or spiced and modern flavoured varieties e.g hazelnut, salted caramel, etc). The guide will suggest five from his own experience to try and let you pick your very own final two. There's free mineral water for the whole of the tasting to clear your pallet. You will also have tasty Polish tapas-style snacks to help soak up the alcohol so you're not too wobbly on your feet. At the end of the tasting a bartender will give you a mini-cocktail making masterclass with one of the vodka's you've sampled followed mini vodka pub-quiz with a few of the cocktails to give out as prizes. The tour usually lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.
The whole idea of the vodka tasting is to give travellers an introduction to Kraków and Poland in a fun way that involves a tasty mix of culture, history and so much more than a good bit of drinking. There's loads of funny stories to tell and we keep the history part short and sweet. The guides are super passionate about Polish vodka and Kraków in general so it's always a good idea to grill them on anything you might be interested in. The tips you will receive can be the difference between having a good weekend and having an incredible weekend in Poland. Everything you'd want to know about the best bars, restaurants, museums or which bottles of vodka to to bring home for presents, you can feel free to ask your guide.
