Discover the Albaicín, the essence of the city of Granada, a historic neighborhood and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994, as well as the picturesque Sacromonte district.
Albaicín is the oldest Arab district of Granada and it's situated on the hill across from the Alhambra. With its traditional houses, the area has retained its old charm and is an ideal place to discover Moorish architecture.
You will walk through the streets of this majestic neighborhood until you reach the Mirador de San Cristobal, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Alhambra, with the snowy peaks of Sierra Nevada serving as the perfect background.
Located to the north of the famous fortress of the Alhambra and to the east of Albaicín, is the district of Sacromonte, a traditional neighborhood that houses a large gypsy community. This district has a long-standing tradition with flamenco, the typical Spanish music. Many flamenco shows are still frequently held in the cave homes.
