The inside story
Dubai desert conservation reserve or "DDCR", is a natural reserve located in the heart of the United Arab Emirates. It roughly comprises 5% of the Emirate of Dubai's landmass, it aims to conserve the UAE's desert wildlife and rich biodiversity. the Government of Dubai has long engaged in projects and activities to better preserve the region's unique and beautiful desert habitat and the many threatened flora and fauna species within.
