Full-day cheese and cider tasting tour from Bayeux
- Discover Normandy off the beaten track
- Taste generous cheeses samples and cider
- Enjoy outdoor lunch in a classified village
- Learn how to brew pears and apples
Have you ever tried real Camembert made with raw milk? You will visit the last standing farm in the village of Camembert that makes Camembert on site! Have huge samples of farm made cheeses with a glass of cider. Then you will visit a dairy where they also work with raw milk and where you can taste the difference between cheeses.
Lunch is in a classified village outdoors if the weather allows it.
The afternoon is focused on apple and pear brewages. Hard apple cider, hard pear cider, pommeau and calvados. Depending on producers availability, you will visit a traditional cider farm, a estate wine-process oriented cider maker. If you are not too tired by the end of the tour, we migh go to a surprise.
