Enjoy a full day of Catalonian experiences by combining a number of our popular tours: the Sagrada Familia, Montserrat and the Codorniu cellars.
Known as the Cathedral of Cava, Codorniu has the largest underground cellars in the world. They stock up to 100 million bottles, housed in a Modernist building which itself is a historic artistic monument. Your visit includes a tour around the cellar on a small electric train and a taste of cava at the end.
Montserrat is a spectacular mountain and national park with amazing views, an ancient monastery and a holy shrine. It’s a great place to get away from the heat of the city for a while, so bring an extra layer to be comfortable. After free time for lunch, we’ll return to Barcelona for the next part.
In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia with a local expert. Learn about how its amazing facades and remarkable interior were constructed and how each part combines to tell a symbolic story. You’ll also see Gaudi’s other notable works in the city: Passeig de Gràci, the facades of Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, and the Eixample district.
