What to expect

Combine wine and olive-oil tastings in les Baux de Provence valley with the discovery of the Roman and Medieval heritage in Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Uzès.

Your first stop is in Nîmes, a great city of the arts, proud of its prestigious Roman past. You'll visit the ancient Roman monuments, particularly the amphitheater.

Then, you'll head to Uzès, a wonderful medieval town set in the garrigues countryside. You'll discover the Place aux Herbes, the episcopal palace, the ducal palace, the Fenestrelle Tower and the Cathedral.

Outside of Uzès, you'll see the Roman aqueduct (Pont du Gard) that brought spring water to Nîmes. It dates back to the first century and is classified by UNESCO.

You'll climb up the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence located upon a rock at 245 meters of altitude! Les Baux de Provence valley, one of the most beautiful landscapes of olive groves in Provence, where olive-oil, cracked olives and black olives are entitled to the A.O.C. Label. You'll have the chance to taste this olive-oil made from a blend of several varieties of olives.

The tour ends with a wine-tasting in an estate at the foot of the Alpilles hill range. The wines of Les Baux are defined by the unique, multi-faceted character of the soil, naturally protected and dried by the mistral wind.
