The Coral Riviera is well-known for its rich marine life and colourful underwater gardens. On this excursion, you'll sail from Catalan-accented Alghero to snorkel in protected marine surroundings and cruise past pristine beaches bathed in golden sunshine.
You'll first receive a quick safety talk and briefing by your instructor at the base and be given all the equipment you need. We'll then continue by rubber dinghy towards Capo Caccia on the north coast of Sardinia. During the journey, you'll pass the beaches of Lazzaretto and Le Bombarde, where white sands are backed by sandstone rocks and leafy green countryside.
One of your stops will be at Porto Conte, a protected marine park, which is home to hundreds of Mediterranean fish species. Keep your eyes peeled for grouper fish, pincer lobster and conger eels as well as red coral formations and margarita flowers – an idyllic snorkelling spot.
