Start your tour from the first stop in the heart of Monte Carlo. An important thing to note if you are arriving by cruise ship is that you can start your trip from the cruise terminal itself or take the Bateau bus across Monaco harbor to start from the city center. Monte Carlo is a highland looking over the Mediterranean Sea. Strategically positioned between the Alps and Gothic French villages, this modern city is a stunner. Many wealthy people are attracted to the Casino, known as the Casino de Monte Carlo. But there is more to the location than just this.

What to remember
  • If you arrive to Monaco by cruise, you can start the tour at the cruise terminal or take the solar electric Bateau Bus across the Monaco Harbour and join the tour at stop 1 in Monte-Carlo. The bus stop at the cruise ship terminal is located at the foot of the ramparts. Shuttle service operates every 15 minutes. Bateau Bus service operates daily from 8.00am to 7.50pm (last departure from the cruise terminal) every 30 minutes
  • Vouchers can be redeemed on board the buses
  • During school term time, buses will not stop at the Place du Palais and Musée Océanographique stops between 11.15am and 12.20pm on Wednesdays, or between 3.45pm and 5.00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
