The inside story
In the nearby area of Madrid there are spectacular sights, full of charm and culture, which you can find with a tour of a few hours from the Spanish capital. A few kilometers south of Madrid, on the banks of the Tagus River, lies the city of Toledo with its famous old town situated on a hilly promontory in which stand the mythical Alcázar and the impressive Gothic cathedral. Do not miss a visit to Segovia, the oldest part was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site; as Avila, the ancient Castilian fortress with its characteristics walls and its medieval churches.
