This tour will shine the spotlight on Hue's garden villages, which are known for their serenity, immense grapefruit gardens and centuries-old homes. You'll meet a friendly local family, learn about their daily life and history, enjoy a leisurely bike ride around a peaceful village and try your hand at making ‘Banh Hue' (Hue cake) for lunch.
You'll explore the ancient village of Thuy Bieu, located on the banks of Perfume River. Peek inside the grapefruit garden that was once a regular haunt for the royal family, before taking a relaxing stroll through the fruit garden. Then pedal your way around the village, stopping to see the locals. But if you don't fancy this part of the tour, you can stay and soak your feet in a herbal tub.
Afterwards, you'll get to try some sesame sweets with green tea, and then make your own Hue cakes such as Banh Nam, Banh Loc and Banh Xeo. But all the hard work will be worth it when you get to sit down and enjoy them for lunch.
