Experience the thrill of meeting camels at Europe's largest dromedary reserve. This experience is a one-of-a-kind adventure that you can only find at this zoo.

You'll have the chance to amble through the striking desert landscapes that encircle this oasis, all the way until you catch sight of the sea. All that's required from you is to hop onto the specially designed saddle, let these beautiful creatures guide your journey, and simply relish the ride. For over three decades, this establishment has been dedicated to the care and wellbeing of these animals.

Their diet consists of free-range pastures, and they are looked after with utmost professionalism by those who adore them most - their caretakers. Before setting off on your adventure, you'll be introduced to your soon-to-be companion in an informative workshop. Here, you'll gain insight into how crucial their conservation and welfare truly is.

Important:

Experience sessions are available approximately every 20 minutes between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm. Your allocated experience time will be assigned upon arrival at the park.

Accessibility:

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women, and people over 120kg

Know in advance:

Children cannot sit on their parents lap for the ride
Participants 15 years or younger must be accompanied by someone aged over 16 years
Rest assured, the camel rides adhere to stringent care standards, ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of the camels is prioritised throughout – this includes giving them plenty of well-deserved rest breaks throughout the days they're working

Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura Ticket

Oasis Wildlife is home to a huge variety of birds, reptiles and African animals, living as close to their natural habitat as possible. There's a successful breeding programme here and recent arrivals include giraffes, sea lions and hippos. Get up close to many of them at the sea lion, reptile and birds of prey shows. In between shows, you can come eye-to-eye with the giraffes on the viewing platform, laugh at the antics of the cheeky chimps, admire the elephants and take pictures of the meerkats, otters, zebras and hippos – the list is endless. There is also an optional 25-minute camel ride available, adding adventure and laughs along the way, aswell as a 20-minute educational lemur experience, learning all about these beautiful, endangered primates. And, if you need to cool off, head to the Sabana Splash play area.
