What to expect

The specialized electrical bike tours of Barcelona are designed to follow bike lanes and avoid traffic where possible, making them safe and secure for guests of all ages. Experience the ease and comfort of Barcelona on wheels and enjoy a rare opportunity to explore hidden alleys and plazas not accessible to tourist buses. This option is the perfect choice for families and groups of friends who wish to discover Barcelona without ever getting tired.

Your bilingual local guide will lead you to some of the most precious areas of the city, giving you an intimate glimpse and unique local perspective on Modernist architecture. Most of Barcelona’s famous Modernist masterpieces can be found in l’Eixample, a wealthy residential neighborhood also known for its glamorous shops, award-winning restaurants and trendy bars. L’Eixample was Barcelona´s 19th-century solution to the overcrowding of the medieval city. It was also the favorite neighborhood of famous Catalan Modernist architect Antoni Gaudí. Making several stops along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about Gaudí’s life and his major works. In a Barcelona under the throes of an industrial revolution, architects like Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch left their jobs to pursue a great dream: to beautify an expanding city with their one-of-a-kind artistic styles.

During this tour you will visit the most important Modernist buildings of Barcelona; many of them UNESCO World Heritage Sites, located on the famous shopping street Passeig de Gràcia.

The guide will guarantee a rich cultural experience for your group by explaining the hidden details of each incredible building.

The tour will end at the magnificent Park Güell, one of the most visited places in Barcelona. Designed by Antoni Gaudi, the park is located at the top of a small hill from which you will enjoy spectacular views of our beautiful city. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
