Da maggio a ottobre, l'Orchestra dell'Hofburg di Vienna suona le opere più conosciute di Johann e Josef Strauss, opere e operette vivaci e duetti di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Emmerich Kálmán e Franz Lehár. L'orchestra, composta da un massimo di 40 musicisti, accompagna cantanti d'opera e solisti di balletto di fama internazionale provenienti dai più famosi teatri d'opera di Vienna.

A seconda della data scelta, il concerto si terrà al Palazzo Imperiale di Hofburg, nella Festsaal o, nella Konzerthaus, nella Mozartsaal.
