Um dos pontos turísticos mais impressionantes de Marrakech, a Koutoubia é uma das maiores e mais belas mesquitas do mundo muçulmano ocidental. Seu minarete de 78 metros de altura é uma obra-prima hispano-mourisca muito semelhante à Giralda de Sevilha. O Palácio El Bahia foi construído no final do século XIX em um jardim de dois acres. É um arranjo aleatório de apartamentos secretos de luxo que se abrem para pátios internos.
Durante sete anos, cerca de mil artesãos da região de Fez trabalharam no palácio. As únicas áreas abertas ao público são os aposentos da concubina favorita do sultão, a sala do conselho (com paredes de azulejos e teto de cedro iluminado) e o grande pátio central (pavimentado em mármore e decorado com zelliges e fontes).
Os Túmulos Saadianos, com suas decorações delicadas e linhas arquitetônicas puras, são considerados por muitos uma bela obra arquitetônica. Foram construídos inicialmente para abrigar os túmulos do sultão saadiano, Ahmed el Mansour. Em 1591, a primeira "koubba" (cúpula no topo de uma mesquita) deste cemitério foi construída ao sul da Casbá.
Na base da Cordilheira do Atlas encontram-se os Jardins de Menara. Cobrindo uma área de 103 hectares, eles são repletos de oliveiras que circundam um grande lago central que data do século XII e é alimentado por uma rede de canais de irrigação. À beira da água, encontra-se um pequeno pavilhão saadiano. Com os picos nevados ao fundo, este é um espetáculo de tirar o fôlego ao entardecer, quando os raios dourados do sol poente o iluminam.
